Get a cardboard tube (like the one’s paper towels come on), aluminum foil and some small dried beans.

Roll the aluminum foil in a long snake and coil it around a broom stick to make a spring-like shape.

Put it into the cardboard tube, glue some extra cardboard on one end, add the dry beans and seal the other end with more cardboard.

Decorate as desired.
