How to Make Homemade Butterscotch Candy

I used to make this all the time as a kid. It's super easy and even a child can do it with supervision.

Simply mix equal amounts salted butter and honey in a saucepan. For instance, one cup each butter and honey.

Melt slowly on low heat. Continue mixing and heating until candy is at around 250 degrees. If you don't have a candy thermometer, you'll know it's ready when you drizzle a bit of it off a spoon into a glass of cold water and it forms a ball.

Pour the candy into a pan greased or lined with wax paper. Allow to harden and then break into chunks and eat. It's delicious!
