How to Make a Nursing Shirt
Nursing clothing is generally expensive and cut for maternity- not too flattering. The point of nursing clothing is to keep your side and belly covered. There are several ways to make your own nursing shirts and accomplish this.
Buy those fauz twinsets, and cut slits in the underneath part, at the fullest point of your bust. Stitch around so that the edges don't fray. Buy a fitted camisole type shirt (best if it does not have a shelf bra. Those never fit nursing moms anyway!). Again, cut at the fullest part of bust, then zigzag around the slits. Wear under your favorite shirts. The layered look is cute, especially if the cami shows at your waistline.
